Wed 2 july: Artist Talk: Marcus Westbury
Marcus Westbury has spent the last decade initiating and developing some of Australia's more innovative, unconventional and successful
cultural events and projects. In Newcastle Marcus founded and managed the This Is Not Art festival - an annual event incorporating the
National Young Writers Festival, Electrofringe and Sound Summit. Marcus was a director of the Australia Council's LOUD and Noise media
festivals and rebooted Melbourne's Next Wave Festivals as the director in 2004 and 2006.
He is currently writing and filming a new series of Not Quite Art for ABC TV and brainstorming some top secret schemes that he will talk about. 7pm Wednesday July 2. Free, with drinks n food.
