As the title suggests, Surviving Sustainability:___________ is an open-ended proposition. As a collaboration, the project is divided into two parts across three cities. Part 1 includes ffiXXed, Rob McKenzie and James Deutsher at Y3K Gallery and part 2 will also involve architecture collective Sibling, Condiment Magazine, World Food Books & Free School at West Space’s West Wing at Melbourne Central. Over this brief four-day period the events will include various outcomes from art to food to fashion before packing up & trailing its carbon footprint all the way to Shenzhen and Hong Kong for further events.

Rendezvous in Wrongtown is the perfect excuse to indulge in the wrong side of art on the wrong side of town.For one day only, Sat7Aug, twenty five of Melbourne’s most provocative and creative space invaders will be moving into an empty house at a secret location and making it their own. The one catch is, the location is secret.In order to visit Wrongtown, you will need to get off the number 8 tram (heading south from the city) at stop number 32. Look towards the nearby park and you will see a flower stall in ‘Rockley Gardens’. It is here that you must wait for directions to the house, at 2pm on Saturday the 7th of August, 2010. All late-comers can ask directions at the flower stand.
